Product Number: 9362000
Provides a wide range of TRO measurement for shipboard applications.
The Hach 1735 TRO (Total Residual Oxidant) Analyzer is ATEX Zone 1 Intrinsically Safe (IS) certified for use in hazardous environments. It meets all relevant IMO standards including tilt and vibration, and is built to withstand shipboard conditions. Under typical use this analyzer will operate unattended for at least 60 days. Five minutes of routine maintenance is required every two months including reagent replacement. The 1735 requires no calibration or special tools, and is able to operate in spaces where ambient temperatures can reach as high as 50°C.
Utilizing the proven DPD method of testing, which is not affected by changes in sample pH, temperature, pressure or flow, the 1735 provides you with extremely accurate results. A 75 second cycle time provides fast response to changes in sample conditions. The 1735 analyzer also provides a wide TRO measurement range of 0 to 10ppm.
The Hach 1735 TRO Analyzer was designed with Hach’s expertise in water quality to provide reliable TRO measurements in shipboard applications for ballast water treatment systems.
The Hach 1735 TRO Analyzer is an ATEX Zone 1 intrinsically safe certified analyzer for use in hazardous, or potentially hazardous environments. This design allows the user to interact and perform maintenance with ease. In addition, it does not require heavy enclosures or additional resources, such as purge gas.
Suitable for high temperature environments such as engine room installations on ships where the ambient temperature can rise as high as 50 °C. Hach reagents can provide accurate measurements for up to 70 days at these high temperatures. The extended reagent life minimizes interaction with the instrument and the operating costs.
The Hach 1735 TRO Analyzer uses colorimetric DPD chemistry to monitor water online for TRO concentration. This is the same method as used in the Hach CL17 Chlorine Analyzer, an industry leader for 35 years. The accuracy of this analysis method is not affected by changes in sample pH, temperature, chlorine concentration, salinity (within the specified measurement ranges), pressure or flow, thus offering more accuracy than other available methods.
The Hach 1735 TRO Analyzer is designed to require minimum maintenance. Under typical use*, the Hach 1735 TRO Analyzer will operate unattended for 70 days. Less than 5 minutes of routine maintenance, including reagent changes, is required every 2 months. No calibration is needed, and no special tools are required. * 24 hours operation per week
To measure total residual oxidant on vessels, the hach 1735 TRO Analyzer is built to withstand harsh shipboard conditions. It meetsIMO standards for tilt and vibration, and is protected by an IP64 rated enclosure which prevents corrosion caused by seawater.
