Model C53 Conductivity Analyzer is compact yet offers benefits usually found only in larger, more expensive analyzers. The Model C53 has two sensor inputs that can be independently configured to measure conductivity, resistivity or total dissolved solids. The C53 accepts the Model 3400-series Enhanced Performance Conductivity Sensors and others (contact your Hach Sales Represetative for more options). One appealing C53 feature is the Dry Calibration method which provides ultimate accuracy across the conductivity ranges of ultra-pure water to 200,000 microSiemens/cm. The analyzer has a large backlit graphic LCD to display the two measured conductivity points, process temperature, two analog outputs and four alarms. Menu screens contain up to six full lines of text to logically guide the user through setup, calibration and operation. Its powerful firmware enables multi-language operation.
Each isolated analog output is selectable as either 0-20 mA or 4-30 mA, and voltage. Up to four alarm/control contacts are also provided. The C53 is housed in a rugged epoxy-coated, metal NEMA 4X 1/2 Din enclosure, suitable for panel, surface or pipe mounting. The C53 also exceeds U.S. and European standards for EMI.
